Training to help you provide care
Education and careers for the child you care for
Your concerns as a carer about Education, Training and Employment are likely to be about either your own work prospects or those of the person you are caring for or even both.
Things to consider include:
- Help to get you back into employment
- Help for you to develop your career whilst also having caring responsibilities
- Respite cover whilst you train
- Support for you as a carer (e.g. looking after your health, relaxation, hygiene knowledge and skills to help you carry out your caring role)
- Support to keep you in work (respite, advice, etc.)·
- Sources of training
- Sources of funding to support training
As things improve:
- What do you want (for yourself)?
- How will you pay your way?
- How will you use your time?
