For a few days

Care for the person you look after for a few days, including nights, tend to be in care homes offering a safe and secure environment often with stimulating activities for the person cared for to get involved in.

The main ways of accessing these stopovers is via the Social Services, your doctor or direct with the help of your local West Sussex Carers Network.
Voluntary organisations and private agencies may take direct bookings.

Care with the person you care for staying at home may be available. Have a look at the section about homecare
