Disabled facilities grants

These are available from your local council to make the home of a disabled person more suitable for them to live in independently. The person must be registered, or qualified to register, as a disabled person.

Home Improvement Agencies can advise on applying for assistance as well as helping you review your housing options. To find out if there is an agency operating in your local area, contact Foundations, the co-ordinating body for Home Improvement Agencies - www.foundations.uk.com
