Publication for carers of people with language-loss following an injury to the brainLanguage loss can occur following a stroke, head injury, brain tumour or illnesses like Meningitis or MS and is known in medical circles as Aphasia or Dysphasia. This workbook gives information on the condition; it contains practical exercises which may help a person to regain their speech or other communications skills (e.g. drawing, picture speak signing or gesture). The book has been launched by Speakability and Jeremy Hunt MP (Shadow Minister for Disabled People).
