Blitz Holiday Funding (added 13.6.11)
The Bond Holiday Group in Blackpool has set up Blitz Holiday Funding which will be supported by The Bond Holiday Group with the intention of raising money to subsidise short breaks in Blackpool and St Anne's. New Passport Scheme to benefit UK Wheelchair Users (added 21.12.10)
The new code for this scheme - called PAS 900:2010 - requires a passport to be attached to a wheelchair for reading by transport operators and their assistants. The passport gives essential information for the safe transportation of a wheelchair and the welfare of the person sitting in it. It includes specified facts and pictures from wheelchair manufacturers, prescribers, buyers, users, carers and transport providers. Read the article at: www.disabled-world.com
