Could you be a FAB volunteer?
West Sussex County Council’s Fun and Breaks (FAB) service is looking for new volunteers to help support families who have children with disabilities. FAB provides volunteer carers who help families, giving parents the chance to take a much needed break. The aim is to help encourage social activities and promote new experiences and independence for the disabled child. This could include taking the child to activities such as swimming, trampolining, bowling or shopping, or staying at home and trying something new like baking, computer games, or arts and crafts. Volunteers are matched with one family to support. All volunteers are required to have a CRB check. For more information visit: www.westsussex.gov.uk, phone 01243 777100 or e-mail [email protected]
