Search for events guide
The event search page
The Search for events page allows you to search for events and activities for carers in West Sussex. When you open the page you will see three drop-down menus and a text-box as below, these are the search options.The first drop-down box is labelled Select a month. This allows you to search for events in a particular month.
The second drop down box is labelled Select an event type and allows you to specify the type of event you would like to search for.
The third drop-down box is labelled Select a location and allows search for events in a specific town. To find events across the whole of West Sussex, or out of county, select any location.
The text box allows you to search by a keyword. Just type a word or phrase into the keyword text box to search for events that include that word in their details.
You may use as many of these search options as you like. When you are happy with your selections, click the View events button. This will take you to the results page.
The event search results page
You will be presented with a list of events that matched your search options as below. At the top of the page is a link back to the search page, click this if you would like to search again. There are also links to search the next and previous months events.Below this is the list of events ordered by each day of the month. You will see brief details about each event. To view more details, click on the name of the event.
The event details page
The top of this page will give you links to the next and previous events details. Use these to browse through the list. To return to the list of events on the search results page click list events.On this page you will see details of the selected organisation including venue, cost, contact name and comments.
