This guide was produced by Cancerbackup in association with CIPD, Carers UK, and Working with Cancer. It is for anyone who is working while also caring for adult partner, relative or friend with cancer; it aims to help carers cope with work issues related to the caring role on their working life.

The guide sets out facts and information about cancer and about cancer care, then goes on to address work-related issues, including:

information on employment rights
suggestions about flexible working
how to get support at work, and
tips on talking about cancer with your employer and colleagues.
