DVD - Live with a healthy heart
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) has launched DVD and booklet to help people with learning difficulties understand their risk of coronary heart disease.Live with a Healthy Heart gives information and guidance on improving heart health and reducing risk of coronary heart disease, including information on how to quit smoking, lead a fitter lifestyle, control blood pressure and cholesterol levels, and eat a balanced and healthy diet.
The DVD and booklet are presented in a style that is accessible to people with mild to moderate learning difficulties, using key words, short sentences with strong messages and themed photos.
