The Childrens Society
The Children's Society works hard to ensure that children and young people's issues aren't ignored or forgotten by politicians and decision makers.As part of our work in London, we've teamed up with a wide range of other organisations to produce a 'manifesto' for London, to coincide with the GLA and London Mayor elections in June.
What is a manifesto?
Before elections, political parties produce written statements known as manifestos to set out what they would do if they were elected. The aim is to persuade people that their programme for government is the best for the voter and for the country.
