Support for carers in the Horsham, Crawley and Mid Sussex areas.

Services include:
  • Information on a one to one basis, or via a regular newsletter and information booklet on local and national support services.
  • Help getting services for carers and the people they care for. Assistance in completing forms. GP Attached and Outreach support services.
  • Emotional support service.
  • Individual assistance grants eg holidays if eligible, returning to work, educational bursaries, transport and help for carers.
  • Support groups. Healthy carers sessions. Reduced complementary therapies for carers registered.
  • Provides a voice for local carers in the planning of services through holding local information days, workshops to identify carers' needs and gaps in service. The issues and concerns raised are then taken forward in to the various strategic planning and implementation arenas.

If you are a carer yourself, have contact with carers in your work or know someone who you think is a carer you are welcome to contact the service for further information.
