Undiagnosed conditions
Sometimes the person you are caring for does not have a diagnosis for the difficulties he / she is experiencing. In many cases this 'not knowing' can add a great deal of stress and can make it harder to get the right help, advice and support.Conditions without diagnosis can appear as:
- Behavioural difficulties
- Emotional difficulties
- Breathing difficulties
- Physical conditions with no discernable cause
Your GP may be able to help. Even if medical specialists cannot find causes they may be able to help the person you are caring for in reducing the severity of the symptoms. Support may be available for:·
- Pain control
- Mobility
- Visual assistane
- Hearing assistance
- Palliative care
- Emotional Wellbeing
